Imaging expertise at every stage of your trial

Engage us for a single phase or the full programme. Every service is tailored to your study and developed with your clinical team and CRO.

01

Pre-trial consultancy

Designing imaging into the study so it can answer the clinical question, with protocols that work across your sites.

Study design
Choosing imaging endpoints that are sensitive to your intervention.
MR physics consultancy
Sequence and hardware advice from acquisition specialists.
MR protocol design
Protocols balanced for data quality, scan time and patient burden.
Acquisition optimisation
Tuning parameters for the analyses you plan to run.
02

Imaging study support

Keeping data consistent and usable across every site, for the whole life of the study.

Site qualification
Confirming each scanner can deliver the protocol.
Cross-site harmonisation
Minimising scanner and site effects in multi-centre data.
Ongoing site QC
Catching problems early with rapid feedback to sites.
Data transfer specifications
Agreed formats and routes between sites, CRO and us.
Operator training
Hands-on training and study-specific imaging manuals for site staff.
Study in a BoxOne lockable kit per site for task presentation and automatic, encrypted data upload.
03

Data analysis

Pre-specified, validated outcome measures, delivered to agreed timelines and formats.

Outcome measure definition
A priori imaging endpoints aligned with your hypotheses.
Statistical analysis plans
Imaging SAPs written and agreed before unblinding.
Data quality control
Semi-automated QC on every scan, billed separately.
Interim and final analysis
Integrated functional, structural and behavioural analysis.
04

Post-trial interpretation

Turning imaging biomarkers into a clear account of clinical outcome.

Interpretation of results
What the imaging findings mean for your programme.
Publication support
Help preparing results for peer-reviewed dissemination.
Imaging site support

Hardware and software support for every scanner

From the first site visit to the last participant, we help each centre collect consistent, high-quality data.

Site set-up and training
Protocol installation on the scanner, operator training and study-specific imaging manuals.
Site qualification
Phantom and volunteer scans to catch hidden scanner issues before the first participant.
Ongoing QA and rapid QC
Regular phantom QA and prompt quality feedback on every session uploaded.
GDPR- and HIPAA-compliant transfer
Secure, encrypted data transfer solutions that meet European and US privacy requirements.
Task fMRI & task battery

Ready-to-deploy task fMRI, at every site

Task fMRI shows how a treatment changes the brain circuits behind reward, inhibition, memory and emotion. Our battery of validated paradigms comes in matched behavioural and in-scanner versions, delivered to sites ready to run on Study in a Box, and analysed alongside structural and resting-state measures. When your study needs something new, we implement custom, dedicated tasks.

Reward and motivation

  • Monetary Incentive Delay (MID)
  • Social Incentive Delay (SID)
  • Food reward sensitivity and cue reactivity
  • Delay Discounting (DDT)
  • Effort-for-reward tasks
  • Probabilistic and reversal learning

Impulsivity and inhibition

  • Go/No-Go, including affective variants
  • Stop-Signal Task (SST)
  • 4-Choice Serial Reaction Time Task

Cognition and memory

  • N-Back working memory
  • Digit Symbol Substitution
  • Verbal memory: encoding, recall and recognition

Emotional and social processing

  • Facial expression recognition
  • Emotional categorisation, recall and memory
  • Face dot-probe attention bias
  • Empathy and social value orientation
Need a paradigm that isn't listed? We design and implement dedicated tasks for your study, with matched in-scanner and behavioural versions. Discuss a custom task →
